About me:

I am a service designer with a background in visual communication design and over 3 years of experience in UI design. I have experience working in different industries such as design training institutions, consulting firms and E-Sports social platforms, which has given me the opportunity to reach out to different users and hear their voices. It was at that time that I discovered my passion for listening to users' stories and translating them into insights into design practice.
With these expectations, I decided to study Service Design at the RCA. It has broadened my perspective and changed the way I see the world. It gave me the chance to leave my desk and get close to the user. It allowed me to plan and oversee projects from conception to delivery and be involved in high-level decision-making. As a result, I now strive to combine creative and systematic approaches to design services that can create real positive change for users.
How can we design services that positively impact the lives of its users and leave lasting impressions?
How can we create services which solve user problems while being commercially viable?
These are the questions I have always asked myself. Whether we are designing services for commercial or purely humanitarian reasons, the process always involves people – from the organisation providing the service to the users who benefit from it. Behind each individual is a story and a voice to be heard, and as designers, we must balance their interests and needs. And this is why I chose to be a designer; it allows me to make a difference by understanding people.
